Estimates, not advice

The calculators on this site are provided for general information. They produce an estimate, not a statement of what you owe. Using them creates no relationship of adviser and client between us, and nothing on a calculator page is tax, legal or financial advice. Do not make a financial decision on the basis of these figures alone.

Filing services are separate

Tax return preparation and filing, where we offer it, is a separate paid engagement with a named specialist and is governed by the terms agreed with you at the point of engagement, not by this page. Nothing in these terms limits the professional obligations owed to you under such an engagement.

Accuracy

We work from official sources and record where each figure came from and when it was checked. Tax rules still change, sources are sometimes revised, and no general calculator can model every individual circumstance. We make no warranty that results are accurate, complete or current. Where a country’s rates are not yet verified, or where a deduction sits outside the calculation, the page says so.

What the calculators do not include

Each page lists its own exclusions. In general the calculators do not model local or city income taxes, state disability or paid-leave premiums, joint or non-standard filing statuses, student loan repayments, benefits in kind, bonuses, or individual tax codes and allowances.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for any loss arising from reliance on the information or calculations on this site. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Acceptable use

You may use the calculators freely for personal and professional purposes. Please do not scrape the site at volume, present the results as official figures, or republish them as your own without attribution.

We link to national tax authorities so you can verify our figures. We are not responsible for the content of external sites.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the current version, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
