The short version

The salary figures you type into our calculators are processed entirely in your browser. They are not transmitted to us, not stored on our servers and not logged. We never see what you earn. There is no analytics on this site, no tag manager, no advertising pixel and no third-party script of any kind.

What we collect

• Calculator inputs: none. The calculation runs locally in your browser in JavaScript. Nothing you enter is sent anywhere, including to us.
• Analytics: none. We run no analytics package. No Google Analytics, no Tag Manager, no heatmaps, no session recording.
• Contact messages. If you use the contact form or email us, we keep your message and your address so we can reply. The form also records the page you sent it from and the page you arrived from, which helps us reproduce a reported error on the right calculator.
• Server logs. Our host records ordinary web-server request logs, including IP address and user agent, as any web server does. We do not combine those with anything else or use them to build a profile.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies. The calculator does not need them to work, and we do not use them for measurement or advertising. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.

Third parties

No third-party service receives data from your visit. Every file this site loads is served from this domain: the stylesheets, the scripts, the flags and the tax configurations. There are no external fonts, no CDN-hosted libraries and no embedded widgets.

The exception is the obvious one: the site runs on hosting, and our host processes traffic and stores the database as part of providing that service. Contact-form submissions are stored in that database.

If we ever add an analytics tool or any other third-party service, this section will name it before it goes live, not after.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. In practice the only personal data we are likely to hold is a message you sent us and the address you sent it from. Email editorial@salarytaxcalculators.com and we will action it.

Children

This site is a general-purpose tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.

Changes

We update this page when our practices change, and the date at the top of it changes with them.
