Pakistan Multi-Year Salary Tax Calculator

Add every period your salary stayed the same — a new job, a raise, a contract that ended — and see the tax due for each Pakistani fiscal year it fell in, from FY 2022-23 through FY 2026-27.

How a salary history is taxed across fiscal years

Pakistan taxes each fiscal year on its own — 1 July to 30 June — against that year’s FBR salary slabs. A salary history is cut into years first and taxed second.

Split each period at 30 June

A period running across the year end is assessed as two slices, because each side falls in a different fiscal year.

Count only the days worked

A month you were paid in full counts in full; a month you started or left part-way through is counted by its days, using that calendar month’s real length.

Add up the year, then tax it

Every period landing in the same fiscal year is added together first, then taxed once against that year’s slabs — so two jobs in one year are taxed as one income.

This calculator covers FY 2022-23 through FY 2026-27, the fiscal years with FBR salary slabs verified on this site. A period outside that range is reported separately rather than taxed on an unverified rate.

Multi-year salary tax FAQs

Why is there no single fiscal year to choose?

Because your dates decide it. Each period you add is placed in its fiscal year automatically from its start and end dates.

How are part-months handled?

By the days you actually worked in that calendar month, divided by the real length of that month, times your monthly salary.

What if I had two jobs in the same fiscal year?

Add both as separate periods. Everything landing in the same fiscal year is summed first, then taxed once on that year’s slabs, matching how FBR taxes combined salary income.

Which fiscal years does this cover?

FY 2022-23 through FY 2026-27 — the years with FBR salary slabs verified on this site. Salary falling outside that range is reported separately, not taxed on a guess.

Will this match what my employer deducted?

Approximately, for salary income. It does not model provident fund, medical allowance, zakat, tax credits or any tax your employer already deducted — use the full salary calculator for a single year with those fields.
